Cheryl Walsh is a Southern California based underwater fine art portrait artist who finds her inspiration in an atmosphere of peaceful solitude. Her underwater fine art portrait photography is described alternately as old-world painterly and illustrative yet is entirely photographic with exquisite lighting, attention to fine detail, posing and color harmony.
Cheryl is an educator, international print competition judge, and has earned a Triple Master Distinction having won over 60 WPPI Print and Image Competition Awards including 13 Gold Awards and over a dozen First places. Cheryl has devoted herself to learning the art and science of inkjet digital printing firmly believing that it is the most important topic in digital photography today.
Her mission is to encourage and educate photographers around the world to print their own work. She maintains full control over all her fine art prints with her Canon image PROGRAF PRO-4100 on Canson Infinity fine art papers in sizes up to 44×64 inch.
